Beachside Acoustic Fundraiser Helping Victims of Volcano Eruption

Our Valentines Acoustic music event fell on the day of the
eruption of mount Kelud in central Java, which was only a couple weeks after
the devasting eruption at Mount Sinabung in Sumatra, so we made our music event
a fundraiser for victims of the eruptions.

The event was brimming with warm vibes and sweet sounds. Guest
artist “J” from Korea did enchanting things with the melodian and
keys… …
Indra from Sumatra also did fine high-energy renditions of some
classic reggae tunes…  … Sagiet and Dave from Bandung reggae band The Paps mixed it up
together with artists from many local bands including Happy Poison, Dewa Surfer
and Wedang Jahe (Hot Ginger).

Money raised from donations (Rp. 450,000) was used to buy art materials and games for the refugee kids stuck in poor condition
waiting for re-housing since their village was evacuated following the
eruption. Many thanks from the kids to all those who donated!
