Trevor volunteers his time on a regular basis as a Trustee for CLEAR, but now he’s going a step further by cycling 300km across Cyprus and fundraising to help CLEAR continue its activities helping communities out in Indonesia.
The ride will be completed just in time for Earth Day 2018, and the theme for this year is ‘End Plastic Pollution’, so it couldn’t be more appropriate and closer to our CLEAR Community hearts.
The cycle trip is part of an initiative called Cycle Cyprus Across Barriers which also promotes bi-communal friendship between the Greek and Turkish Cypriot communities. This aspect of cross-cultural exchange and collaborative action is also central to CLEAR’s work which entails a lot of cultural exchange activities in Indonesia.
